A practice from Source Patterns Intelligence™

Most of what will shape the next decade is already moving.

It is just not moving in the places the standard tools are looking.

This is not a technology crisis. It is a listening crisis.

It moves at a different pace. Not the news cycle. Not the algorithm. The patterns that matter most are rarely the ones you can see immediately. They live in the space between what you say is happening and what is actually happening.

It reads from places most intelligence practices skip — Indigenous, Global Majority, queer, labour, ecological. Not because those sources are alternative. Because they are early. And because the knowledge that arrives with consent, attribution, and right relationship carries something the extracted version cannot.

Source is still becoming. The methodology is live. The form is not yet fixed. It feeds the SOIL dinner salons, the keynotes, the Threshold coaching sessions, the Cartography Is Not Home research. It is the thread that connects the book to the body of work to the room. If you are drawn to something before it has a name, this is for you.

Used in teaching at London Interdisciplinary School's MBA programme, to facilitate workshops, research and write keynotes, coach Threshold clients, and do deep listening for board and IEEE subcommittee work.

"For the first time, I felt calm and grounded about AI. Not frightened. Able to approach it with a new perspective of possibility rather than fear."MBA student · London Interdisciplinary School
